Movie Review – Really Wooly Kids

When we received the Really Woolly Kids “Trusting In The Shepherd” DVD from DaySpring in the mail to review the kids were all really excited.

Really Woolly Kids is a cute cartoon, but it is so much more than that. The DVD actually teaches scriptures. We love it as a family when we find something that helps us teach our children scripture.

The two stories on this DVD both teach about Psalm 23:4. The first story is about Gracie and the second story is about her brother Jacob, but the theme is same, learning about God’s protection. There is a really adorable scripture song that is sung throughout the DVD and from the very first time the kids watched it (and they have watched it several times since then) they started trying to memorize the catchy scripture song.

Some of the things that we liked about the video include the fact that it teaches good biblical principals, the characters quoted actual scripture, and the dad even pulled out bible and read from it during the DVD.
