Homeschool Mother’s Journal

In my life this week…

My week has been full of snuggles and hugs and kisses from kids with coughs and sniffles.

In our homeschool this week…

We are plugging along with our curriculum. I have already made my list for next year and big changes are coming. I am so excited.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

My niece had a birthday and we had the big family party at our house. There were six adults and nine children eleven and under. It was crazy. It was loud.

My hubby made four large homemade pizzas. They were so good.

I made a double layer chocolate cake (it was really good) using my eggless diaryless cake recipe.

Hosanna thought it was really good.

Right down to the last lick.

I made a fun creative writing journal for my niece. She loved it.

My favorite thing this week was…

Zion (2 years old) clasping his hands together and begging me to use my new mop to wash the hall floor. Isn’t this every mother’s dream?

What is working/not working for us…

Being adaptable is working for us. You can read more about that here.

Homeschool questions/thoughts I have…

I am trying to think outside of the box for Elisha for next year. He will be using Teaching Textbooks, and taking some on-line courses. Do you have any other creative ideas for me?

A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

There is a chocolate theme happening at our house.
