TOS Crew – Travel Kits: A Simple Way to Bless Others

When I received the Travel Kits e-book to review for the TOS CREW, I had no idea what to expect. I have never seen a book about this topic before. I was intrigued by the title and wanted to learn more.

Are you going on a trip this summer? Do you need a way to keep your children occupied on your journey?

Do you need a way to keep your kids busy in waiting rooms?

This 93 page e-book explains in great detail what Travel Kits are and gives instructions on how to make your own. In short, a Travel Kit is a package that you make for your own family (or another family) to bless them (and keep them occupied) when they going on a trip. They can also be used to keep your little ones (or big ones) busy when you have appointments that involve sitting for extended times in waiting rooms.

Travel Kits can be made with as little or as much money as you have (or care) to spend on them. You can gather your items over time or run out and buy them all in one shopping spree, whatever you prefer.

Travel Kits can be custom packed for each situation and tailored to any theme you wish. This e-book contained several pages with different ideas of things that you could include in your travel kit. Creative suggestions are also included for a variety of different containers to hold everything, ways to wrap the individual gifts, ideas for identifying them, and fun distribution of  the gifts.

This book is loaded with creative ideas and suggestions and it was an easy read.

We are not going on a vacation this year, nor do we know any close friends who are traveling right now, but I was inspired to use some of the ideas contained in this e-book when I am planning for Christmas (which I will be doing very soon!). I am always wanting to think outside the box when it comes to planning for Christmas and I was thinking that some of these ideas would make great gifts for my children or my sister’s children for Christmas. I am excited to begin planning my Christmas shopping list, getting started creating some fun and exciting gifts, and then finding creative (and practical) ways to wrap them.

I was able to get some great information out of this e-book and there are enough wonderful ideas in here, that you should be able to find some useful information for your family as well.

Great review, Honey! I hadn’t thought about it before, but it might be good to keep some of the little packages in the car for those unexpected times (at the doctor/dentist, at a relative’s house) when kids have to wait longer than they want to.

    1. Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your comments. When we have a working vehicle again, I will definitely be using some of the creative ideas for stashing things in the car.

I am also really excited about planning for Christmas now. My husband and I always start talking about Christmas in July because there is so much planning involved.

I didn’t mention it in the post, but I will be using some of the ideas from this book to put together a theme related birthday gift (and party) for Moses (who turns 9 in less than a week).
