The Simple Woman’s Daybook

The Simple Woman’s Daybook

Outside my window… it is dreadfully dark and dreary.

I am thinking… the muffins I will be making for breakfast.

I am thankful for… my family.

From the learning rooms… I am still pondering how amazing our school day was yesterday.

From the kitchen… I wish that I was smelling coffee brewing because I really need it to wake up.

I am wearing… my pajamas, because I wanted to post this before I started my day and forgot.

I am creating… some fun photos of circles for a post I am doing on Friday.

I am going… to stay home today and plan my errands for tomorrow when I hope it is not raining.

I am reading… Born On A Blue Day, Pen On Fire, Managing Their Schools, Educating The Whole Hearted Child, and Henry Huggins (if we can find it).

I am hoping… to have another successful day homeschooling.

I am hearing… the cars driving by on the rainy, slick  roads.

Around the house… we are missing the baby gate because it finally broke.

One of my favorite things… snuggling with my kids everyday.

A few plans for the rest of the week… I want to take all the kids on the bus over to visit Nana this week.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing this week

This picture was taken in October after a family walk at the park. The kids were all loading into the van and the sky seemed to just open up. I grabbed the camera and snapped up some pictures.
