It is often easy to forget to take the time to be thankful. It was nice to find this reminder on Marine Corps Nomads this morning to stop for a moment and think of something to be thankful for. Apparently, Thankful Thursday happens each week.
I am thankful for my family. I have the most amazing family.
My husband is the greatest (no, really, he is!). This morning my neck was hurting and he heard me complaining and wincing in pain and he brought me some pain meds. It was so sweet.
Elisha spent some time hanging out with me explaining all the statistics in StatPress to me (he’s 9). We had some great fun.
The other day, Moses realized that he had forgotten Valentine’s Day and he made me a snack and brought it to my room on a tray. He made a precious heart out of Lego. So special.
Malachi drew me a heart on paper when he saw what his brother was doing. He loves to give (and receive) hugs and snuggles, so I get them all the time from him.
Zion is loads of fun and I think he is going to be my house cleaner. He does most things without being asked. If he sees garbage somewhere he will pick it up and put it in the trash. If he sees dishes left out (in a family of 7 someone always forgets to clear their dishes) he attempts to carry them to the kitchen on his own. Usually a brother will see him and step in to help.
Hosanna is my little girlie girl. She loves pretending to be a little mama and care for her babies and teddies. She is always trying to breastfeed them (give them some nummies), change their diapers, or tuck them in to some make shift bed (usually a basket or a cooking pot).
I have an awesome family! It was nice to stop and think of things to be thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
