We were surprised by snow this week. It started to fall.
And it just kept on falling.
The kids were excited at the prospect of actually being able to play in snow.
Their toys sat waiting outside in the snow.
While the kids sat inside anxiously glued to the window.
I love the contrast of the colors…
against the whiteness of the snow.
Flowers in November?
How cool is that?
Can you guess how many shots I had to click in order to be able to capture this cool “almost” family photo? (Too many, but I am glad that I was able to get a good one, even if I was not in it.)
Come back tomorrow for some more fun pictures of kids in the snow. They are cute, honest.
Do you have snow where you live?
Snow! We don’t have any here in Montreal yet, but I don’t think it will be much longer before we do.
Hi Phil,
I would that that Montreal had loads of snow at this time a year. Shows what I know about the east coast.
Thanks for stopping by. The snow has all melted now and we are back to rain.

Lovely pictures! I’m not a snow person, although the kids of course love it. I hope we won’t have any for a while yet; the weather has been very mild here in northeastern US so far – which I’m thankful for! :)
Funny I had to comment again because we’re now getting snow LOL… it seems like just a flurry, but that’ll show me hehe.
Hahaha,
Funny how that happens. We don’t get much snow here. Hope you got to enjoy the snow.

The wind finally died down here in BC’s Lower Mainland, and we woke up to snow this morning! So exciting! THe kids are beside themselves, and of course dh doesn’t have a day off till tomorrow. I think it might be too cold to take the baby out, so they’re going to have to wait until tomorrow to go out and play. :(
Hi Jennifer,
Do you still have snow? Did it last or did the rain come and melt it all away?
Thanks for visiting.

It was warmer than I thought, so I ended up taking the four of them out that afternoon. It was good that I did – by bedtime, the eaves were dripping, and the rain started. By morning, the only snow was in the piles where it had been shoveled. That better not be the only taste of winter we get!! :)
We started doing the first week of your Across Canada study last week, of course modified a bit for K and pre-K – the kids loved it! Especially the parts about Canada Geese and beavers! Such animal lovers. :P lol!
Take care! :)
Your snow pictures were awesome. Thank you for sharing them. You have adorable kids. Your snow sounds a bit like ours (short lived).
Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to improve the “A Trip Across Canada” study besides completing the last three lessons. I would appreciate your feedback.

No snow for me! I’ll enjoy the beautiful pictures you have. Your family is lovely too. I’m sure the kids will enjoy the snow — while mom takes an hour to bundle everyone up for a 10-minute outdoor playtime.
All my best to you,
Sara
Hi Sara,
Thanks for visiting. I am glad you were able to enjoy the snow pictures. Thank you for the kind words about my beautiful family. The kids enjoyed the snow better the second day when it was not -6 degrees Celsius. It was actually dad that bundled everyone up for both of those snow plays outside. (Awesome dad).
