Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY – Monday, June 21, 2010

Outside my window… is a vegetable garden that is finally growing.

I am thinking… about the installation of the heat pump that will be happening this week.

I am thankful for… God’s provision in all things.

From the learning rooms… we are winding down our school year and eagerly awaiting books for next year (they should be here any day now).

From the kitchen… I am smelling the makings of chicken soup and I am surprised that we will get four meals out of two cooked chickens.

I am wearing… my everyday clothes.

I am creating… a mess. We are going through all of our homeschool materials and purging and organizing for next year.

I am reading… several books right now and enjoying all of them.

I am hoping… that our new homeschool materials get here soon because I am so excited.

I am hearing… Horton Hears a Who

Around the house… we are rearranging everything and trying to find creative ways to organize the stuff of 7 people.

One of my favorite things… watching the children grow up.

A few plans for the rest of the week… include sorting the rest of the homeschool materials and organizing the cabinets in the school room.

Here are two picture thoughts I am sharing…

      The sunflower is actually metal.

Your blog theme is really cute.

    1. Hi Lis,

I am happy to have you visit my blog from the TOS Crew. I love the Simple Woman’s Daybook. I had a visit to your blog today. The photo on your Simple Woman’s Daybook brought back memories from when I used to play softball.

    1. Hi Sara,

Thank you for being the ever faithful blog visitor and commenter. I am still waiting for some of my materials and I am really excited. I look forward to everything arriving soon. I love those pictures of the twins. They are just having fun, making a mess, and being kids.
