Before I Was A Mother

I found this fun post on the Happy Brown House today. Sara has an amazing list (most of which I could have written myself) of all the things that were different Before I Was A Mother … Have fun reading her list.

Here’s mine:

Before I was a mother… I was able to just get ready and go. Now, I need to find socks, shoes, and coats for myself and five kids (just put it back in the cupboard when you take it off – please), pack a diaper bag,  and pack snacks.

Before I was a mother…  I could sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee while it was hot without having to microwave it three times.

Before I was a mother… I could take a bath without being interrupted by kids needing to use the potty.

Before I was a mother… I could make what I wanted for dinner, now I need to think about 5 little people, all with very different taste buds.

Before I was a mother…  I could buy a treat and not have to buy 5 more just to keep everyone from stealing wanting to share mine.

Before I was a mother… I couldn’t carry on five conversations at once.

Before I was a mother… I didn’t have little people running up and giving me hugs and kisses everyday.

Just for the record… I enjoy life much better as a mother.
