An Introduction To Geometry

We are just about finished school for this year. We are tying up a few loose ends before we officially call this year over and take a short break (we school year round). One of the things that we need to finish up is a little Introduction To Geometry.  As usual, I went on a hunt for on-line resources to help us with our studies.

Math Monday is a fun new math meme that I found. I am really excited to find a meme to do with math. I have been wanting to share math resources with you, but I did not want to create a new column. Come and check out all the fun resources at Joyful Learner.

I am also linking up with Mingle Monday was created by Robyn over at Our Homeschool Home as a “no stress, come as you are” way for other bloggers to get to know each other.

    1. Hi Sara,

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I love research and information. I am so glad you can use the information as well.

  1. Hi Honey,
I’m visiting via the TOS Crew. :)
We’ve done various geometry activities here (we love incorporating learning with something creative!)
One activity we did was based on a quilting activity, only we did it with paper. The way we did it was more based on symmetry, but you could stretch it to ideas with angles, etc. too.
If you’re interested, you can view our work here:
Thanks for listing all your other ideas, too. I love inspiration!!!!
We’re learning all about the qualities of equilateral and isosceles triangles today.
