PS - I am happy to report that since the writing of that post, I did create a phonics basket. Malachi and I have been using it and he is picking up on the reading now. My mama heart does a dance. We just needed a different approach for this boy.

What are your favorite phonics resources?

Penguins, Penguins, Everywhere

I have been making some penguin things recently and I have seen people mentioning them on their blogs.

I created The Penguin Path back in December and had a lot of fun trying my hand at graphic design. Spesamor Academy mentioned me in her post titled Penguins Part One and shows a picture of her children using the game board.

My first download of 2010 was Penguin Learns The Alphabet. My second download of this year was Penguin Learns -at Words. These two downloads were tons of work to make, but loads of fun. Cariann over at Unionvale mentioned me in her post -at word games.

I have some more fun ideas for Penguins that will be showing up soon.
