The L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge – The Eyes Have It

This week's theme over at The L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge is, "The Eyes Have It."

I have been waiting for a chance to show you this photo. We got these cool coke bottle glasses as part of dress-up and everyone had fun trying them on. This was one of my favorite shots and it is straight out of the camera with minor cropping (I cut out my mom and my dirty foot). I tried to play with it in Picassa and had some good results, but it wasn't saving today for some reason.

Photo Fun

I was looking through some old photos in search of a photo for another project. I found this cute photo and couldn't resist some photo fun. I cropped it, altered the lighting, and changed it to black and white.

This is a picture of my youngest son Zion. He has a twin sister (Hosanna). He is about 8 months old here (he is almost 2 now).

The first thing that struck me was how square his head is. The second thing that struck me was how serious he looked. He looks serious just about every time you take a picture (deer in the headlights). He really does smile and have some quirky expressions (I will try and capture some).
