In my life this week…

We celebrated Victoria Day by watching the parade on television.

In our homeschool this week…

As a family we discussed our goals for next year (and the rest of this year).

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

My sister (and some of her kids) came over to work on a secret project we are working on (to be revealed soon). We had our weekly playdate and visit with Jenn and her kidlets.

My favorite thing this week was…

Brushing my daughter's hair and having her brush mine. She is finally old enough to brush my hair without getting the brush all tied up in a knot.

What’s working/not working for us…

We need to rearrange our home again to create some new learning spaces. I can't wrap my head around making our spaces work for our needs. (Time to get creative again.)

Homeschool questions/thoughts I have…

I have been thinking about our homeschool quite a bit this month and I have decided that I want us to focus more on learning, having fun, exploring, creating, etc. than on checking things off of a to-do list.
