Grandma took the big boys (Elisha, Moses, Malachi) out for lunch one day last week.The waitress came to the table to ask the kids what they wanted for dessert. She told them that they had a choice between ice cream, M&M's, and Skittles. Malachi answered, "I don't want ice cream because it will put my blood pressure up."

I hope Grandma talked him into going for the ice cream anyway. What a sad thing, to miss out on ice cream. LOL. Very cute!

I don’t think he ended up having the ice cream. I don’t usually pass on ice cream unless it is a really gross flavor, but there are not too many of those.

I got a kick out of your story. How very cute and sweet. What a special time for your children and Grandma and what sweet memories your children will have! My own grandmother used to take me to the mall when I was young and would treat me to a Mickey Mouse Sunday. Oh how I looked forward to those! Can’t say my blood pressure ever crossed my mind though. What willpower your little one has- to give up ice cream? Too cute.
