I have two pieces of advice for all of you who are just starting out with your homeschooling:
1. Take Time Choosing Your Materials
When I was planning my homeschooling this year, I spent a great deal of time focusing on the following:
- pray
- research
- read samples
- follow your heart
2. Create A Support System For Yourself
Having a support system is so important. It is not really important where the support comes from as long as you have it. Consider the following when setting up your support system:
- homeschooling friends
- local support group
- yahoo group
- on-line forum
