An Army Of Ordinary People

I was intrigued by the tag-line of this book, “stories of real-life men and women simply being the church.” What does it mean to simply be the church?

This book lays out how I have always believed that “church” should be. What is described within these covers is a vibrant, living, breathing, house church movement that is making an impact in local neighborhoods.

The author tells the stories of many men and women involved in the simple task of starting house churches and weaves in the biblical principles and teachings of God’s Word as she tells those stories. It is amazing to see how God is at work and how He uses everyday men and women like you and me to accomplish His purposes.

If you are looking for inspiration in your walk with Jesus Christ or you are simply looking for something more than your Sunday morning church experience, then I suggest that you check out this book.

Read a sample chapter and let me know what you think.

I read and loved this book also. I think this is how church should be, we’d reach so many more people if we bring the church to them.

Thanks for the review. I will definitely look the book up.
I found you from the HOTM online conference and it’s so interesting that we house church as well. We have been for about 4 years now, meeting in homes and being the church to others.

Honey, thank you for the wonderful review of my book, “An Army of Ordinary People.” It takes time and commitment to read a book and then write about it and it is much appreciated. You have really caught the heart of the message I hoped to get across–that ordinary people can be used by God in extraordinary ways if they will just yield their lives to him.
